Question of The Day?Is The Book "To Train Up A Child" Responsible For The Death Of Children All In the Name Of God (Video)

Well we have all people quote the scripture “Spare the Rod, spoil the child”, Proverbs 13:24 which technically reads in the NIV Bible as:
24 Whoever spares the rod hates their children,
but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.
However watch the following video and tell me if this has anything to do with what God had in mind. Do you feel that the discipline form known as “Spanking, whoopin’, corporal punishment” is necessary? Has anyone read this book? Isn’t there a bold (not fine) line between what would be considered chastisement and abuse/beating?

Known for her 1989 hit “Congratulations,” singer Vesta Williams was found dead in a Los Angeles, California hotel room on September 22, 2011. Williams was 48 years old.
The cause of death is currently not known.
Word of Vesta Williams death is trending on Twitter as condolences go out.
Model/fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons tweeted, “What tremendous talent, great soul! ‘Cuz as long as I can breathe, you’ll always be the one for me!’”
90’s R&B star Shanice was shocked by the news.
“My friend Vesta died…I can’t believe this…RIP,” she tweeted.
Comedian Sinbad wrote, “Our dear sister and one of the sangiest diva’s ever, vesta williams, has passed away. I loved that sister.”
