Bishop Eddie Long Speaks To New Birth on Tuesday 9/28/2010

“And I’m here to tell you whatever God spoke about me, whatever God said about me, it shall come to pass,” said Bishop Eddie Long on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 to his congregation at New Birth Church in Lithonia, GA. during a Prayer meeting.

It has been stated that Long still did not come out and completely deny the allegations of sexual coercion or any other intimate involvement with the four young men and that his message to the congregation was “cryptic”.

Long has been reported saying, “I’m not speaking about the individuals and all of that…This is spiritual warfare.”

Long said that if people believed what they saw and heard, “I’d be scared to show up, I’d be scared to look at you. But there’s something in me bigger than the situation…And I’m here to tell you whatever God spoke about me, whatever God said about me, it shall come to pass,”

[ad] Long was reported to have said this to his congregation along with 32 other Pastors who had come to New Birth to pray with Bishop Long.

Rev. William Jasper of Salem Bible Church stated, “We sang and prayed with the bishop,”

umm….what did God say about him?

  3. What is going on? Mr. Parris seems very convincing. The timing is a little suspect, with the naming of the bridge. But the logic is that the idea of this monster being immortalized just struck a nerve in this kid. He is obviously very hurt and upset. There is some truth to his story somewhere. You people around the church know you saw him with Mr. Long. You remember the extent of their relationship. Just look inside your hearts and be real. Because the bible says what happens in the dark, will be relieved in the light…. I pray that GOD favor can help Mr.Long(Stroke) out of this……
