CNN has just released a statement saying that Bishop Eddie Long is being sued by two men who claim that Bishop Long coercedthem and others into sexual relations with him.
According to CNN ” the suits, filed Tuesday in DeKalb County, Georgia, alleged that Long used his position as a spiritual authority and bishop to coerce young male members and employees of his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church into sex.”
[ad]Anthony Flagg, 21, states that on various trips around the US with Long they engaged in several intimate sexual acts. (We choose to refrain from listing alleged acts).
Art Franklin, Long’s representative said Tuesday, “we categorically deny the allegations.” and “It is very unfortunate that someone has taken this course of action,” he said. “Our law firm will be able to respond once attorneys have had an opportunity to review the lawsuit.”
The accusers are seeking undisclosed amounts of punitive damages on various counts ranging from negligence to breach of fiduciary duty.
