Mom Don’t Give Up! Almaz Gebremedhin aka “Lil’ A”. A Mother’s Day Story and Video

[ad]

Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

Exodus 20:12

Almaz Gebreamedhin is the winner of the Good Morning America Breakfast in Bed Contest With Emeril Legasse. The petitte housekeeper in the Maternity St. Vincent Health Center  has an amazing testimony.  Her humble and quiet response to her prize and story is waht touched me.  In addition to the fact that this mother of 5 was more pleased to see her children all together than she was about her winnings.  To be honest I’m not sure she said one word in the mic during the whole surpise.  However her spirit spoke volumes. See for yourself. I just think her story is good for all Mother’s (single, married or in between) who know they have worked hard for their children, don’t give up.  Your work does not go unnoticed.

To all the Mother’s (parents) out there who strive to do what’s best for your children.  Thank you and God Bless.  Always remember when times are hard you are never alone.  While I don’t know if she is a Christian or not, we all know from whom blessings flow.

Happy Mother’s Day to us all!

(Yes, I might be a little biased because all of her Children went or are attending Penn State on scholarship. We Are!!)

Thank you for confirming. What a great story. Her children spoke so highly of her to hear what they said and her friends prob meant more than the breakfast and bed.
