Maundy Thursday is an important part of Holy Week, this is the day of the Last Supper. It is also the time when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. Even though Jesus knew that he would soon be betrayed (that means someone whom Jesus trusted would prove to not be a good friend) and that another would deny him (that means someone who knew him would pretend that he did not know him) he still went forth doing what he knew God wanted him to do.
