Bishop TD Jakes – Beyond The Blame

John 9:1-7
Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

9 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

“If sin could make a child go blind….every child in here would go black!”
The Spirit of Accusation comes from Satan.
Satan is the accuser of the brethren.
There is an accuser in your life.

Jesus rebuked the accuser. I have an attorney that will plead my case when you make assumptions about me. I don’t have to fight for myself.
God said my strength is made perfect in your weakness. If you too strong I can’t show off. But when all hell is breaking loose….

The reason we feel the need to place blame is because we are disappointed in the outcome. The disappointment in the outcome suggest there is something wrong with where you are. So the way you cope with the disappointment is to blame me, you make me the scapegoat but Christ already is. I’m going to use her brokenness for My Glory, I’m going to use his emptiness for My Glory… I made her this way because I have an appointment with her! You have an appointment with destiny.

The Blind man said nothing and the miracle came to him. Stand still blind man.

You think that in order from him to be right he has to be like you that’s why you blame people because you are the standard of right.

Watch the blind man experience my touch without the healing. Watch the blind man find his way to the pool in the dark! In order to get your miracle you gotta take your first few steps in the dark. The just walk by faith, not by sight!!!!!

Don’t get frustrated because you don’t see immediate results you got to keep walking it out.

He’s been there all the time! All while you were stumbling around in the dark. Just because you have been blessed by him doesn’t mean you know Him!
