Kirk Franklin wrote “In Love” for the film, “Joyful Noise” and performs it with Detroit’s Holy Vision Church choir, which is Pacashau’s arch-rival. Director Todd Graff describes the number as “really funky,” adding “Kirk dances like some version of Prince cross-bred with James Brown, but it’s all church music. It’s so charismatic and his band really cooks.”
I just came across this information and thought it needed to be shared. especially for those of you who are in Detroit! Maybe we will be able to make it there for this. It sounds like it will be great. So get your Youth groups, Young Men’s group, and Book Clubs and go show your support. They have group rates! There is also a Praise Dance Competition, please read on and enter your teams!!!
