  2. Wow. That interview was intense. His passion is overwhelming. Good for him!

  3. Donnie McClurkin must be Steve Harvey’s therapist/cryptonite poor thing can’t talk to him without crying, does same thing in this interview https://www.onlinefellowship.org/2010/09/22/donnie-mcclurkin-interviews-steve-harvey/

Just watched this interview this Morning on LIGHT HOUSE TELEVISION IN UGANDA EAST AFRICA, MAN I WAS SO BLESSED, i felt Gods Love when he passionately expressed how God blessed him

  5. I’m so glad to find a group of people who speak kindly towards Pastor McClurkin. I don’t get a chance to get on the internet much anymore but recently I was surfing the internet to see if Donnie would be doing a concert in my area anytime soon. Imagine my surprise when I found dozens of sites hating on Donnie because …of his biblical views on homosexuality. Please keep this fansite going for him. The only other Donnie-Friendly Christian Blog out there is Yolanda Ro Speaks Life; which is where I found out about the COGIC Conference he did and how it is drawing so much critcism. Please drop by and leave your comment on this site. We Christians have to show that we stand behind those who are standing behind the word.

  6. Sue and Eleanor…Judge not lest ye be Judged. You are condemning this man and YOU don’t know what he is going through, you don’t know his walk of life YOU are sitting up looking and YES LAUGHING at his jokes and listening to his radio station and STILL sitting there JUDGING him and saying he is not walking with GOD. He who is without sin cast the first stone. Can’t do it can you. This man has done a lot for EMPOWERING women, doing a lot for ENCOURAGING our young men and you SIT THERE AND JUDGE….

      Deb,

“Judge not, lest ye be judged” (Matt. 7:1-5) is one of the MOST misquoted, taken out of context scriptures in the Bible used to shame Christians from discerning poor behavior, ethics, morals and values. John 7:24 authorizes us to JUDGE with a RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT. We ARE NOT to judge with a WICKED HEART or DISHONORABLE INTENT. We ARE NOT to be HYPOCRITES. Our own lives have to be in alignment with the WORD OF GOD. We MUST be able to discern GOOD from BAD, PROPER from IMPROPER, RIGHTEOUS from EVIL. We ARE to JUDGE the BEHAVIOR, NOT the individual, the DEED, NOT the doer, the CHOICE, NOT the chooser! Jesus DID NOT excuse the woman caught in the act of adultery. He forgave her, but, STILL TOLD HER TO “GO AND SIN NO MORE”. We must stay in a state of repentance and forgiveness—-NOT accepting or being comfortable with SIN in our lives or the lives of ANY who claim JESUS as Lord . What was a sin 2000 years ago is
STILL a sin today because the Word of God DOES NOT change to suit our fleshly desires. No matter what ANY of us has been through, GOD’S WORD is the AUTHORITY for the believer and WILL NOT be compromised! Ones “good works” (own righteousness), according to the scriptures, is as “filthy rags”! (Isaiah 64:6) To suggest in his (Mr. Harvey) book that women should sleep with their date after 90 days IS a clear recommendation to fornicate and clearly in opposition to obeying God’s Word. SIN has its own penalty. For your information, I DO NOT LAUGH at Mr. Harvey’s jokes and I DO NOT listen to his radio station.

Finally, according to the scriptures, our own righteousness is as filthy rags. No matter what ANY of us has been through, our “good works” will not compensate for a sinful lifestyle. Sin has its own penalty!

I agree with Eleanora Winslow’s comments, couldn’t be said any better.

  8. I have strong opposition to things stated by Mr. Harvey. We are not to be influenced by the world, we as believers are to influence the world. There is too much of the church that is entertaining and programing people straight to hell. We are not to be impressed by “celebrity”. There are many in the entertainment world who may know God, but it is not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. One can know about God, talk about God and sing about God and still not know God or HIS son Jesus! There are those who sit in front of the cameras on TBN and proclaim to be a christian, but will be ashamed to repeat it in a secular “Hollywood” environment. I have seen it with my own eyes. We are not to judge the world, however, we are told in 1 John 4 to judge EVERY spirit to see if it is of God. Yes, we do ALL miss the mark, however, the Bible says that one who is of God wll not continue practicing in sin. Sin will not be a lifestyle! The “church” has in the name of “love” become accepting of every form of wickedness. God will not be mocked. Jesus says, “If you love me, you will DO WHAT I SAY! So, I ask Mr. Harvey, whose definition of love are you referring to in your comment? One cannot love God and yet reject His Word, refusing to obey His commands. That is what the Word of God says, not me! There are many different Gods and we are not ALL worshiping the same one!

Mr Steve Harvey……….. I felt your spirit and. God Has Open another door for you to travel through. and that is the most precious thing you can encounter. Yes your mom put in you what God told her to do, and now its paying off and that only tell you one of several things you have more work to do; but this work is for the Lord thats why you are goingthrough if a person haven’t been born again they cannot tell you nor can they feel what you feel but God know how to put the right people I mean the right people in your life. Yeah the other work was for us, but now you have to work for the Lord and you are going to be more blessed read 2nd Tim.2:15 the Lord has smiled down on you Bro. another chosen vessel. Hold tight to it don’t let go, don’t let go but you will be alright and believe you are going to be alright I was saying that when you was in prayer with Rev Donnie McClurkin. Talk to God when he saved you he already know what you are going through and he is the only one that can fix anything put your trust in him, you’ll see go in secret closet and tell God what you want him to know; just you and God, only you and God and watch him work a miracle in you, you will be amazed. In Time, In Gods time.

  10. This was absolutly amazing. This indeed says that you can come from any walk in life and still praise the Most High.Mr. Harvey is trully a inspiration and I really believe that Steve wouldn’t be in the position he is in today without putting God first.I know first hand what Steve is talking about.I’m a new Author for a book entitled”Growing Up A Witness” and its so refreshing to really see who your true friends are. I have had so many people whom I thought was my friends but they only judge the bad things that you may have done in the past.I had one of my best friends make a statement to me “who made me so self righteous” and at that moment I knew I was doing the right thing that pleasing to God. What everyone needs to understand is that we strive to be Christ like and made in God’s image and everything and everyone else doesn’t matter.I love God like Mr. Harvey said and he is the only one that judges me.

    Thanks Joseph Lee,Jr.

I was in the auditioning audience of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” on Tuesday, November 17th, 2009. Steve Harvey was the guest host. He did a great job , however, he should realize that he must season his language with that of the word of God, not the profanity that the world uses. We all hurt at times but if you have to use profanity to express yourself then you are already defeated. He is a beautiful person and I will pray that through his continued growth in Christ that he will be able to overcome this defenciency in his Christian walk. You can’t be the worship leader (emcee) for the Gospel Award shows one day and then entertain the world with a profanity laced speech the next. You are the type of person that does not need to use that form of wordly language to get your point across. I enjoyed you other wise at the audition and maybee next time I’ll pass the audition. All things come of thee oh lord. Be blessed you are still allright with me.

  13. Great acting, and there are those of us know the real deal with Steve. He should be more together at home!!

Speaking for myself I don’t feel comfortable judging another’s sincerity on most matters, esp when it comes to their feelings about God. I’m just thankful that HE knows the real deal about me (each of us) better than anyone else. That HE is able to see past what is on the outside and what others think and knows my HEART! There are times when even the people who know you best will treat you like a stranger.

Even Jesus’ words were rejected by the people that should have known the real deal with Him when he spoke in the synagogue in Nazareth

      Jesus Rejected at Nazareth

14Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. 15He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
16He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. 17The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18″The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
      because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
      to release the oppressed,
19to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[e]

20Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him, 21and he began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

22All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked.

23Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself! Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’ ”

24″I tell you the truth,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown. 25I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27And there were many in Israel with leprosy[f] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”

28All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. 29They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him down the cliff. 30But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.

      Luke 4:14-30

I’m glad you left your comment and hope you receive mine in the Spirit in which it is intended Christian Fellowship

  14. It was truly refreshing to view Steve Harvey in this light. It touched me to the depths of my soul. I love his point about people having the nerve to judge others. It is time for us to own up to our shortcomings ask God to help us with improving them and then only then will we begin to heal, because once we are on the road to healing will we truly begin to live.

One has to get a little age and good sense about him/her to understand that thing about God that will move you to tears and marvelous joy. Most comedians speak about having to devise a way to deflect sadness, criticism, and pain and their comedy is a way to do this. Just from some of the material in the Steve Harvey repetoire, you can tell this man has been through some times in his life, as we all have. The wonderful thing about this is that he did not try to joke his way out of what he was feeling during the interview. Hew was REAL with it.

We all worshlp God in our own way, but the joy in this is that we know who is in control.

The testimony was very heart warming and informative, but most of all it shows that money and fame don’t stop a person from feeling the same type of emotions that are felt by everyday people. Our positions in life are not who we are and we should never define ourselves by such!

It is truly a Blessing to see a Man express himself as honestly and humbly as Mr Harvey did on this show. To let down his guard and allow his feelings, fears, frustrations and love to show is truly an inspiration and shows how God can and will move through us all!

It was also great to see Donnie McClurkin there with him to show him love and support. Brothers need strong Brothers.

Thank you for another great posting!
