With October 31st quickly approaching, there are many of us who have children who will come to us asking about dressing up, going trick or treating, etc.

While there are several schools of thought out there on if we should or should not participate. If a Harvest celebration is appropriate or not and should we allow our children to dress up. One can be left not sure where they want to draw the lines.

So over the next few weeks I want to try and provide you with information that will make some of the discussions, explanations and perhaps decision making a little easier for you.

I believe the first step in all conversation is to make sure our children are clear as to what Halloween entails. Below is a book that was recommended to me for my eldest daughter when she was around 5. I hope someone finds it to be as helpful as I did.
