Please look at Rev. 22:14-16. Although previously in Revelation it talks about the lake of fire, this passage goes back to the washing of the robes and the city gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. But, it never says they are destroyed in this passage. It merely says they are outside the gates, it does not say they are outside the gates in the lake of fire. Prior to this passage, we really get the sense that there is a purgatory and place of repentence. And, there are levels of purity even at the end of days as we know them. We cannot add or take away any passages of the bible is true. However, we must also realize that the bible has been translated from the original language it was written in and it was written by man, inspired of God. Historically, we now realize that through translation and man's desire for correctness, some books originally written were deemed inadequate in the original authorship of the bible and were therefore, left out. After years of recovery, so called scholars are now discovering and uncovering more and more answers and books that may have been overlooked as necessary additions to the 66 books of the bible. We are also finding out that even our 66 books may not have been given in just the correct order and some things even in the bible appear to be redundant or out of place. It is a tool nonetheless for us to identify right and wrong of what God desires for us. The truth of all of our understanding is to read, study, pray and listen with discernment to God himself and His word for knowlege of our truth.
Go back and revisit all of the "faiths" out there and you will, in most cases, see a God, a Savior, and a way of faith that leads to the truth. The bottom line in all truth is that God truly wants to reach all men, all over the world, to believe in Him, whether they are black, white, purple, green, African, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim. God is God for all people and in all truth He desires to reach out to all mankind, whom He created and love us all where we are and guide us ALL to where He is and who He is. It's all about love. God is love! And, he wants us all to love Him and love each other as He loves us. That includes all our faults. For we are mere men, all saved by a God, who loved us enough to send a savior so we would not perish, but that we would ALL have eternal life with Him, when He returns in whatever faith we see that.
Scripture has been interpreted by many throughout the ages, but when the spirit of the Almighty comes upon man, the feeling and insight one receives no words can express or help define who you become and the desire for His contiuing love. That's he ultimate drug, you desire it all the time more and more. And, that's what all these prophets, teachers, so-called scholars have been trying to say for ages.
With all the mayhem going on globally, it's time for man to stop pointing out faults and start praying, smiling, reaching out unconditionally and without finding fault to try and touch as many of our fellow men as we can. That is the way of Jesus. Even He had to grow into his sonship so He could truly understand what we as men go through. But, when He finally got there, look how much he accomplished in three years. No mere mortal man has accomplished as much since He appeared here on earth. No, not one!
So, embrace all men. Study to show yourself approved and truly understand that even if you put 10 people in a room together reading the same passage, you may very well get 10 different responses to that one passage. Does that mean that nine are wrong and only one right? Maybe, maybe not...we are not the judges. For ages man has had a hard time embracing new thoughts and ideas, things have not changed.
There is only one truth and one thing on this earth that evolves and never changes, God is Love and He Loves ALL His Children. Be Blessed Earth and Man! Love to you all!

Prasie be to the most high God: I was recently told that the name of Jesus in the greek ment sun god, or sun godness, although I must admit I was very much surprise by this statement becasue I never heard that before. The problem is that it was told to me by one who suppose to be a Christian, and a Prophet of the mos high God (Jesus). So you are so right men have tried down through the century to change the name of Jesus, now to hear Carlton Pearson teaching concerning hell has really, I just can't explain how I feel, I know the scripture teach about those who came from us but was not of us, but still it is so startling to hear him teach such errorous doctrine and believe it, it is just amazeing to me. He does not even has any bibical foundation to prove his doctrine, there's not one scripture that support the fact that hell is not a literal place of torment where all unbeliever go, along with the false prophet and all those listed in Rev. 21:8, 22:15,I guess does not believe Revealation either. What on his mind besize his own agenda, his own self exaltation?

I agree so whole heartly, I am so deep sorry that for so long Mr. Pearson were able to fool those so close to him. As we teach in the boby of Christ that this is no accident the Father knew all the time who, and what Mr. Pearson stood for. Now he tried to condemn the body of Christ by saying we don't show love, but for "God so love the world that the gave his only begotton son", I do love him very much that why we can't be God because we would just look over the truth and receive lies, evil spirit and doctrine of devils.

Bro. Pearson is blessed that there are a few believers that care enough about his eternal destiny that they would attempt to snatch him from his pending doom if he does not repent. Bro. Jamal is extending brotherly love to him by exposing, in love, the error of his teaching and the heavy price that he will pay by leading others to eternal damnation. The enemy is after the "jugular vein" of the "church". We need to "wake up" from our slumber and "see" that we are living, right now, in the "latter days".

As a mnister of the Gospel, I have a responsibility to say what God says! The church, at large, is comfortable with preaching that speaks of a God who is only loving, kind and forgiving. This is very true. However, HE is also a JUST JUGDGE! The Word states in Titus 4:2, "Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season (whether or not it is popular to do so); CORRECT, REBUKE AND ENCOURAGE---with great patience and careful instruction. (3) For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to SUIT THEIR OWN DESIRES, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear (there is no hell, homosexuality is not a sin, everyone will go to Heaven, etc). (4) They will turn their ears AWAY FROM THE TRUTH and turn aside to myths." Great deception is sweeping throughout the "body of Christ" and that is what is perpetuating the "great falling away" mentioned in 1 Tim. 4:1, "The spirit clearly says that in the latter times, many will abandon the faith and following deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Lastly, Hebrew 10:26 says, "If we DELIBERATELY keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, (27) BUT, only a fearful expectation of JUDGMENT AND OF RAGING FIRE that WILL consume the enemies of GOD"! Man WILL BE WITHOUT EXCUSE! Sad, but true.

Sis Winslow as always it is indeed enlightening to hear from you. I agree there are several scriptures to support what you have written above. I also love the fact that whenever you speak even when we don't completely agree with one another :) you always back what you say with scripture. To me sometimes that is the fine line between "Judging" and holding one accountable. Gods word is and always will be the first and final word. So when we address one another and have sound doctrine to back then we "hopefully" are doing it as Christians should.

However I am sure that we both know people who will try and use and distort the word to fit their own agendas. In addition there are several of us who have been taught only portions of scriptures and have never taken the time to read the entire Chapter or Book to find out for ourselves in what context a scripture was written. We then go around spouting the scripture like children at a Easter program without knowing if we are using it correctly or not. It is one of the areas that I think this blog has helped me with most. I read the discussions that we have on here and I am constantly confronted with new scriptures or a readers understanding of them that put me in a position to delve deeper and deeper into God's word.

God will hold the teachers to a higher standard, James 3:1-2
1Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.

and... we have a charge to not judge and slander one another. James 4:11-12
11Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. 12There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

but to save a sinner from death when we can. James 5:19-20
19My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

Again the fine line. We need to be careful of what we say and how we address people. Note I did not say we should sit in silence. We should not sit in judgement

The distorting of the "touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm" passage is nothing more than a form of psychological intimidation that permits those promoting it to continue the propagating of THEIR perverted messages. "For if MY PEOPLE, who are CALLED BY MY NAME, will HUMBLE THEMSELVES and PRAY and SEEK MY FACE and TURN from THEIR WICKED ways, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, FORGIVE THEIR SINS AND HEAL THE LAND! (2 Chron. 7:14) HE is TALKING ABOUT THE "CHURCH"!

It is a sad state of affairs that many in the "body of Christ" are content to sit in a church week after week and assume the opinion of "professional clergymen " to be the final authority without comparing what is being said with the Word of God for themselves---thus, the manifestation of much deceit! It is clear that Bishop Carlton Pearson is "peddling another gospel" which Paul speaks about in Gal.1:6-9. The fact that he holds the title of Bishop does not exclude him from examination of the spirit that is now operating in him. We are told in 1 John 4:1 to "examine EVERY spirit" to see if it is of God! That does not exclude "Bishops". Deception comes in many forms, particularly among false prophets and teachers in these last days---again, its IN THE WORD! The pulpit is full of them! It is also clear that when David mentions refraining from "touching not God's anointing, he is referring to doing Saul physical harm. ( 1Sam. 24: 1-13.) David publicly rebuked Saul for his own benefit as well as for the benefit of others. Christians ARE to hold one another accountable.(1Tim. 1:3-7). Titus 3:10 says, "Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him. (11) You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is SELF-CONDEMNED. This man has clearly fallen away from the faith. I pray that he is brought under conviction and repents.
