There are of course numerous places you can start, I will give you a few. My Partner states that Romans is a good place in the Bible to begin. It gives you a good guide as to how you can be right with God. Romans 10:9 is a favorite of mine. I think the book of James offers good support to this chapter as a guide of what to do as well as Proverbs. Pastor Abrams (whose book is also on the site) stated she would recommend starting with the Gospels of Luke or Mark also she recommended getting the Daily Bible New Living Testament Version, you can sign up for that online. I because, I have dreams to, would recommend studying the people of the Bible who were also Dreamers. I understand how difficult it can be to express to others how dreams work. I also had to study for myself to see if the dreamer and the interpreter were the same person. I would recommend reading up on Joseph as well as the Gifts of the Spirit. In the Bible as Christians we are cautioned with regards to the people have dreams, visions, etc. To be certain that what we see or are told is really of God. Try the book of Daniel, Genesis 37 and 1 Corinthians 12. I pray these help. Hopefully other Fellowship Family will add comments as well that will help you. When I hear his word from any reliable source, it fills my heart with joy and peace. Can someone give advice on material reading that will help me with studying the word? There are so many Christians that do not know ALL that they have inherited as children of God and are, therefore, living beneath their privileges as heirs to the King! Whenever a "true believer" discovers and applies who God is in Him, who he is in God and the power and authority he has over the kingdom of darkness, he is fully equipped to live his life in the earth as an undefeated champion of life! No one knows how to execute the maximum potential of a thing better than the one who created it. So, who better to instruct me concerning my capacity to operate at my optimum than the Creator of Heaven and Earth who made me in His very own image. Joshua 1:8 says, "If you meditate on this word day and night and are careful to OBEY the word, THEN you SHALL make your way prosperous and have GOOD SUCCESS!"
